Numerous files, folders and registry data will not be removed when you want to remove PowerDirector from your computer.

Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall PowerDirector:

A way to remove PowerDirector from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PowerDirector is an application released by the software company CyberLink Corp.. Some people choose to remove this program. Sometimes this is easier said than done because performing this by hand takes some knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK way to remove PowerDirector is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your PC.

  • download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the applications existing on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate PowerDirector or simply activate the Search field and type in "PowerDirector". The PowerDirector app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select PowerDirector in the list of applications, some information about the program is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about PowerDirector, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove PowerDirector.

8. After uninstalling PowerDirector, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of PowerDirector which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing PowerDirector using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
