A guide to uninstall PowerDirector from your system

Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might get a notification for admin rights. The program's main executable file occupies 5.77 MB (6055208 bytes) on disk and is titled PDR.exe.

How to remove PowerDirector with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PowerDirector is a program by the software company CyberLink Corp.. Frequently, users try to remove this program. Sometimes this can be efortful because performing this manually takes some know-how regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best EASY approach to remove PowerDirector is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your computer.

• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find PowerDirector or simply click the Search field and type in "PowerDirector". The PowerDirector app will be found automatically. When you select PowerDirector in the list of programs, some information regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding PowerDirector, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for PowerDirector:

• The web site of the application is: http://www.CyberLink.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{CB099890-1D5F-11D5-9EA9-0050BAE317E1}\Setup.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove PowerDirector.


8. After removing PowerDirector, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of PowerDirector that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling PowerDirector using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
