A guide to uninstall PowerDirector from your computer

PowerDirector is a Windows application. Read below about how to uninstall it from your computer. It was coded for Windows by CyberLink Corp.. Take a look here for more info on CyberLink Corp.. You can see more info on PowerDirector at http://www.Cyberlink.com. The program is frequently located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Cyberlink\PowerDirector directory (same installation drive as Windows). The full command line for removing PowerDirector is C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{CB099890-1D5F-11D5-9EA9-0050BAE317E1}\setup.exe. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might be prompted for admin rights. PDR.exe is the PowerDirector's main executable file and it takes close to 5.01 MB (5252392 bytes) on disk.

How to delete PowerDirector with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PowerDirector is a program released by the software company CyberLink Corp.. Some users choose to remove it. This is hard because removing this by hand takes some skill regarding PCs. The best SIMPLE solution to remove PowerDirector is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to take care of your PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate PowerDirector or simply click the Search field and type in "PowerDirector". If it is installed on your PC the PowerDirector application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click PowerDirector in the list , some data about the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about PowerDirector, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove PowerDirector.


8. After removing PowerDirector, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong PowerDirector which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing PowerDirector using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
