How to uninstall PowerDirector from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PowerDirector is an application released by CyberLink Corp.. Sometimes, people decide to remove it. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because deleting this by hand requires some skill related to removing Windows programs manually. The best EASY solution to remove PowerDirector is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to clean your Windows PC.

• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs existing on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find PowerDirector or simply click the Search field and type in "PowerDirector". If it is installed on your PC the PowerDirector program will be found automatically. Notice that when you click PowerDirector in the list of apps, the following data regarding the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding PowerDirector, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for PowerDirector:

• The publisher is: http://www.Cyberlink.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{CB099890-1D5F-11D5-9EA9-0050BAE317E1}\setup.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove PowerDirector.


8. After removing PowerDirector, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong PowerDirector that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling PowerDirector using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
