A way to erase PCProtect from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will appear
6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate PCProtect or simply click the Search field and type in "PCProtect". The PCProtect application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select PCProtect in the list of programs, some data regarding the application is available to you:
- Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding PCProtect, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
- Technical information regarding the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
For instance you can see that for PCProtect:
- The publisher is: http://www.pcprotect.com
- The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\PCProtect\uninst.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall PCProtect.

8. After removing PCProtect, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of PCProtect which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
