A guide to uninstall PCProtect from your computer

A way to uninstall PCProtect from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PCProtect is an application released by PCProtect. Some people choose to uninstall this application. This can be hard because deleting this by hand requires some experience regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best QUICK solution to uninstall PCProtect is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general tool to optimize your computer.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the programs installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find PCProtect or simply activate the Search field and type in "PCProtect". The PCProtect app will be found very quickly. After you click PCProtect in the list of applications, the following data regarding the program is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding PCProtect, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
For example you can see that for PCProtect:





  • The web site of the program is: http://www.pcprotect.com
  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\PCProtect\uninst.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall PCProtect.

8. After removing PCProtect, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong PCProtect which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing PCProtect using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
