How to uninstall Ignition from your computer

Ignition is a computer program. This page is comprised of details on how to uninstall it from your computer. The Windows version was created by Inductive Automation. More data about Inductive Automation can be read here. Ignition is typically set up in the C:\Program Files\Inductive Automation\Ignition directory, but this location can vary a lot depending on the user's option while installing the program. You can uninstall Ignition by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files\Inductive Automation\Ignition\uninstall.exe. Keep in mind that you might get a notification for administrator rights. The application's main executable file is named IgnitionGateway.exe and its approximative size is 693.25 KB (709888 bytes).

A way to remove Ignition using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Ignition is an application offered by Inductive Automation. Some computer users choose to erase this program. Sometimes this is difficult because performing this by hand requires some experience regarding PCs. The best EASY procedure to erase Ignition is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your Windows system.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the applications existing on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Ignition or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Ignition". If it exists on your system the Ignition app will be found automatically. Notice that when you click Ignition in the list of applications, the following information regarding the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding Ignition, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the program you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Ignition.

8. After removing Ignition, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Ignition which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Ignition with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
