A way to uninstall Ignition from your PC

The full command line for removing Ignition is C:\Program Files\Inductive Automation\Ignition\Uninstall.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might get a notification for administrator rights. The program's main executable file is named IgnitionGateway.exe and its approximative size is 754.57 KB (772680 bytes).

Quite a few files, folders and Windows registry data can not be deleted when you remove Ignition from your computer.
The files below remain on your disk by Ignition when you uninstall it:- C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\ignition.lnk
Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Inductive Automation\Ignition
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Ignition 8.1.10
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog\Application\Ignition

A way to uninstall Ignition from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO
Ignition is a program offered by Inductive Automation. Frequently, users choose to uninstall this application. This can be troublesome because deleting this manually takes some knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. The best QUICK procedure to uninstall Ignition is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:
1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows system.

- download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
- set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.
3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the applications existing on your PC will appear
6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Ignition or simply click the Search feature and type in "Ignition". The Ignition program will be found automatically. Notice that when you click Ignition in the list of apps, the following information about the program is available to you:
- Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about Ignition, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
- Technical information about the app you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
For example you can see that for Ignition:
- The web site of the application is: www.inductiveautomation.com
- The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Inductive Automation\Ignition\Uninstall.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Ignition.

8. After uninstalling Ignition, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Ignition which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Ignition using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
