How to uninstall Ignition from your PC

A way to erase Ignition from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Ignition is an application by the software company Inductive Automation. Sometimes, users try to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because removing this by hand takes some advanced knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY solution to uninstall Ignition is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to take care of your Windows computer.

  • go to Download Link
  • download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool
Go to Uninstall Programs


5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Ignition or simply click the Search field and type in "Ignition". If it is installed on your PC the Ignition app will be found automatically. When you select Ignition in the list of apps, some data regarding the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Ignition, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
For instance you can see that for Ignition:





  • The web site of the application is: www.inductiveautomation.com
  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Inductive Automation\Ignition\Uninstall.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Ignition.

8. After uninstalling Ignition, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Ignition that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Ignition with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
