A way to uninstall Ignition from your PC

Ignition is a Windows application. Read below about how to uninstall it from your PC. It is made by Inductive Automation. Further information on Inductive Automation can be seen here. Usually the Ignition program is found in the C:\Program Files\Inductive Automation\Ignition folder, depending on the user's option during install. The full command line for uninstalling Ignition is C:\Program Files\Inductive Automation\Ignition\uninstall.exe. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might get a notification for admin rights. The program's main executable file has a size of 624.27 KB (639256 bytes) on disk and is labeled IgnitionGateway.exe.

How to remove Ignition with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Ignition is a program marketed by Inductive Automation. Sometimes, computer users choose to uninstall this application. Sometimes this can be difficult because performing this by hand takes some skill regarding Windows internal functioning. The best QUICK manner to uninstall Ignition is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general tool to clean your Windows computer.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the applications installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Ignition or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Ignition". The Ignition app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Ignition in the list of apps, some information regarding the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Ignition, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Ignition.

8. After uninstalling Ignition, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Ignition which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Ignition with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
