A way to remove GS-Base from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GS-Base is a program offered by the software company Citadel5. Frequently, computer users decide to erase this application. This is troublesome because uninstalling this by hand requires some advanced knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. 1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your Windows computer.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on your PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find GS-Base or simply activate the Search feature and type in "GS-Base". If it is installed on your PC the GS-Base program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click GS-Base in the list of apps, the following information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding GS-Base, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for GS-Base:

• The publisher is: http://www.citadel5.com/gs-base.htm
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\GS-Base\gsbase.exe -uninstall

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall GS-Base.


8. After removing GS-Base, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of GS-Base which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling GS-Base using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
