How to uninstall Chromium from your system

How to erase Chromium from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Chromium is an application by the software company The Chromium Authors. Some users try to remove it. Sometimes this is easier said than done because doing this by hand takes some experience regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best QUICK practice to remove Chromium is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your PC.

  • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the applications installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Chromium or simply click the Search feature and type in "Chromium". If it is installed on your PC the Chromium program will be found automatically. Notice that when you select Chromium in the list of apps, some data regarding the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding Chromium, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Chromium.

8. After removing Chromium, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Chromium which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Chromium with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.
