How to remove Certbot using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Certbot is an application released by Electronic Frontier Foundation. Some computer users choose to uninstall this program. This is hard because performing this by hand requires some advanced knowledge regarding PCs. One of the best SIMPLE action to uninstall Certbot is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your system.

  • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button

5. A list of the programs existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Certbot or simply activate the Search field and type in "Certbot". If it is installed on your PC the Certbot program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select Certbot in the list of applications, some information regarding the program is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding Certbot, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Certbot.

8. After uninstalling Certbot, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Certbot which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Certbot with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.
