How to uninstall Certbot from your computer

Certbot is a Windows program. Read more about how to uninstall it from your computer. It is developed by Electronic Frontier Foundation. You can find out more on Electronic Frontier Foundation or check for application updates here. The program is usually placed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Certbot folder (same installation drive as Windows). The full command line for uninstalling Certbot is C:\Program Files (x86)\Certbot\uninstall.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may be prompted for administrator rights. Certbot's main file takes around 95.68 KB (97973 bytes) and its name is certbot.exe.

A way to erase Certbot from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Certbot is an application offered by the software company Electronic Frontier Foundation. Some users decide to erase this program. This is difficult because uninstalling this by hand requires some know-how regarding PCs. One of the best QUICK approach to erase Certbot is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general tool to clean your system.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Certbot or simply activate the Search field and type in "Certbot". If it is installed on your PC the Certbot app will be found very quickly. When you select Certbot in the list , some information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Certbot, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Certbot.


8. After uninstalling Certbot, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Certbot that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Certbot using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
