A way to uninstall Certbot from your computer

A way to remove Certbot from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Certbot is an application marketed by the software company Electronic Frontier Foundation. Some people decide to erase it. This can be efortful because removing this manually takes some knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY solution to erase Certbot is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. 3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the applications existing on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Certbot or simply activate the Search field and type in "Certbot". If it is installed on your PC the Certbot application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Certbot in the list of apps, the following data regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Certbot, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Certbot.

8. After removing Certbot, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Certbot which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
