A guide to uninstall Certbot from your computer

A way to remove Certbot using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Certbot is an application offered by Electronic Frontier Foundation. Some people choose to remove it. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because deleting this by hand takes some advanced knowledge related to PCs. One of the best SIMPLE manner to remove Certbot is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general utility to take care of your PC.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs existing on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Certbot or simply click the Search field and type in "Certbot". If it exists on your system the Certbot app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Certbot in the list of programs, the following information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Certbot, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Certbot.


8. After removing Certbot, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Certbot which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Certbot with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
