How to uninstall Tracker from your computer

This web page is about Tracker for Windows. How to remove Tracker with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Tracker is an application offered by the software company Open Source Physics. Frequently, computer users choose to remove this application. Sometimes this can be efortful because deleting this by hand requires some know-how related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK practice to remove Tracker is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general tool to clean your Windows system.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Tracker or simply click the Search field and type in "Tracker". If it exists on your system the Tracker program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Tracker in the list of programs, the following data regarding the application is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Tracker, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Tracker:

• The publisher is: http://www.opensourcephysics.org/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Tracker\uninstall_Tracker.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Tracker.


8. After uninstalling Tracker, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Tracker that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Tracker using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
