How to uninstall Tracker from your computer

This page contains thorough information on how to remove Tracker for Windows. It was coded for Windows by Open Source Physics. Check out here for more info on Open Source Physics. More details about Tracker can be found at http://www.opensourcephysics.org/. The program is often placed in the C:\Program Files\Tracker folder (same installation drive as Windows). Tracker's entire uninstall command line is C:\Program Files\Tracker\uninstall_Tracker.exe. Tracker.exe is the Tracker's main executable file and it takes approximately 2.93 MB (3068713 bytes) on disk.

How to remove Tracker from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Tracker is an application marketed by Open Source Physics. Some users choose to erase it. This is difficult because performing this manually takes some experience regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best QUICK action to erase Tracker is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general tool to clean your Windows PC.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications installed on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Tracker or simply activate the Search field and type in "Tracker". If it is installed on your PC the Tracker application will be found very quickly. After you select Tracker in the list of apps, the following data regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Tracker, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Tracker:

• The software company is: http://www.opensourcephysics.org/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Tracker\uninstall_Tracker.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Tracker.


8. After removing Tracker, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Tracker which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Tracker using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
