A guide to uninstall Tracker from your computer

Tracker is a software application. This page holds details on how to uninstall it from your PC. The Windows version was created by Open Source Physics. More information on Open Source Physics can be found here. More information about the application Tracker can be seen at http://www.opensourcephysics.org/. Tracker is usually set up in the C:\Program Files\Tracker folder, but this location may vary a lot depending on the user's choice while installing the application. The full command line for removing Tracker is C:\Program Files\Tracker\uninstall_Tracker.exe. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might be prompted for admin rights. Tracker.exe is the Tracker's main executable file and it takes around 2.91 MB (3050455 bytes) on disk.

How to uninstall Tracker using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Tracker is a program marketed by Open Source Physics. Sometimes, computer users try to erase this program. This can be troublesome because uninstalling this manually requires some knowledge related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best EASY approach to erase Tracker is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your computer.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs existing on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Tracker or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Tracker". The Tracker program will be found automatically. After you select Tracker in the list of applications, some data about the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Tracker, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Tracker:

• The publisher is: http://www.opensourcephysics.org/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Tracker\uninstall_Tracker.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Tracker.


8. After removing Tracker, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Tracker that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Tracker using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
