A guide to uninstall Speedify from your PC

Speedify is a software application. Some files, folders and registry entries will not be uninstalled when you want to remove Speedify from your PC.

Directories found on disk:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Speedify
• C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Speedify
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Speedify
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Temp\Speedify

The files below were left behind on your disk when you remove Speedify:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Speedify\Analytics.exe
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Speedify\icudtl.dat
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Speedify\install.log
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Speedify\log4cplus.dll

Registry that is not removed:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Speedify
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Speedify

Open regedit.exe in order to remove the following values:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files (x86)\Speedify\SpeedifyUI.exe
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Speedify\DisplayIcon
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Speedify\DisplayName
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Speedify\InstallLocation

How to uninstall Speedify with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Speedify is a program marketed by Connectify. Frequently, users want to uninstall this application. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because doing this by hand requires some experience related to removing Windows programs manually. The best SIMPLE manner to uninstall Speedify is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your PC.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Speedify or simply click the Search feature and type in "Speedify". If it is installed on your PC the Speedify application will be found automatically. When you select Speedify in the list of applications, the following data about the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have about Speedify, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Speedify:

• The web site of the application is: http://www.speedify.com/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Speedify\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Speedify.


8. After removing Speedify, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Speedify which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Speedify with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your computer.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
