How to uninstall Speedify from your PC

Keep in mind that you might get a notification for administrator rights. SpeedifyLauncher.exe is the programs's main file and it takes approximately 2.23 MB (2336352 bytes) on disk.

If you're planning to uninstall Speedify you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders found on disk after you uninstall Speedify from your computer:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Speedify

The files below remain on your disk when you remove Speedify:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Speedify\speedify.exe
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Speedify.lnk

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

Additional registry values that you should clean:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Speedify\ImagePath
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\tap0901cn\DisplayName

How to delete Speedify using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Speedify is a program offered by Connectify. Sometimes, people choose to remove this program. This can be difficult because uninstalling this manually requires some skill related to Windows internal functioning. The best QUICK practice to remove Speedify is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general tool to optimize your Windows system.

• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Speedify or simply click the Search field and type in "Speedify". The Speedify program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Speedify in the list , some data about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about Speedify, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Speedify:

• The web site of the program is: http://www.speedify.com/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Speedify\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Speedify.


8. After removing Speedify, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Speedify that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Speedify using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.
