A way to uninstall Speedify from your PC

Speedify is a Windows program. Speedify has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall Speedify:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Speedify.lnk

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\speedify
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Speedify
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Speedify
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Classes\speedify
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Speedify
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Speedify

Open regedit.exe in order to delete the following values:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files (x86)\Speedify\SpeedifyUI.exe.ApplicationCompany
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files (x86)\Speedify\SpeedifyUI.exe.FriendlyAppName
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Speedify\DisplayName
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Speedify\ImagePath
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\tap0901cn\DisplayName

A way to erase Speedify using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Speedify is an application released by Connectify. Sometimes, computer users want to remove this application. This is easier said than done because performing this by hand requires some experience regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best QUICK manner to remove Speedify is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general tool to maximize the performance of your computer.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Speedify or simply click the Search field and type in "Speedify". If it is installed on your PC the Speedify application will be found automatically. After you click Speedify in the list of programs, some information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding Speedify, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Speedify:

• The web site of the application is: http://www.speedify.com/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Speedify\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Speedify.


8. After uninstalling Speedify, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Speedify which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Speedify using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
