A way to uninstall RuneLite from your computer

RuneLite is a Windows program. Read more about how to uninstall it from your PC. It was coded for Windows by RuneLite. More information on RuneLite can be seen here. RuneLite is commonly installed in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\RuneLite folder, but this location may differ a lot depending on the user's option when installing the application. The full command line for removing RuneLite is C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\RuneLite\unins000.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might be prompted for administrator rights. The program's main executable file is named RuneLite.exe and occupies 369.00 KB (377856 bytes).

If you are manually uninstalling RuneLite we recommend you to check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\RuneLite Launcher_is1
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\RADAR\HeapLeakDetection\DiagnosedApplications\RuneLite.exe

A way to uninstall RuneLite from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find RuneLite or simply click the Search field and type in "RuneLite". The RuneLite program will be found very quickly. When you select RuneLite in the list , some data about the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about RuneLite, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove RuneLite.

All the items of RuneLite that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
