Following the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the PC. Some of these are listed below.

Folders left behind when you uninstall RuneLite:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\RuneLite

Usually, the following files are left on disk:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\RuneLite\RuneLite (configure).lnk
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\RuneLite\RuneLite (safe mode).lnk
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\RuneLite\RuneLite.lnk

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\RuneLite Launcher_is1

Registry values that are not removed from your computer:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Games\RuneLite\RuneLite.exe.FriendlyAppName
