After the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the computer. Some of these are shown below.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\MSNINST

3. Click on the General Tools category

5. All the programs existing on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find MSN or simply click the Search feature and type in "MSN". If it is installed on your PC the MSN app will be found automatically. When you click MSN in the list of applications, the following information regarding the application is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding MSN, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall MSN.

8. After removing MSN, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of MSN which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing MSN using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
