How to erase ION Setup from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ION Setup is a program marketed by the software company Schneider Electric. Some users try to remove this program. Sometimes this is easier said than done because deleting this manually requires some skill related to removing Windows programs manually. One of the best QUICK approach to remove ION Setup is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your system.

• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system utility.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications existing on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find ION Setup or simply activate the Search feature and type in "ION Setup". The ION Setup program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select ION Setup in the list of applications, the following information regarding the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding ION Setup, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\ION Setup\Uninst_IONSetup\UninstallLauncher.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall ION Setup.


8. After uninstalling ION Setup, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of ION Setup that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing ION Setup using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
