How to uninstall Heimdal from your computer

A way to erase Heimdal from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Heimdal is a program by CSIS Security Group. Sometimes, people decide to remove this program. Sometimes this can be difficult because deleting this by hand requires some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. The best SIMPLE practice to remove Heimdal is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general tool to optimize your system.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Heimdal or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Heimdal". The Heimdal application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Heimdal in the list of apps, some information regarding the application is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Heimdal, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Heimdal:

• The web site of the program is: http://www.csis.dk
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Heimdal\uninstaller.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Heimdal.


8. After uninstalling Heimdal, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Heimdal which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Heimdal using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
