FocusWriter is comprised of the following executables which occupy 2.02 MB (2118243 bytes) on disk:

  • FocusWriter.exe (1.87 MB)
  • Uninstall.exe (158.60 KB)

A way to delete FocusWriter from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

FocusWriter is an application offered by Graeme Gott. Sometimes, people want to uninstall it. Sometimes this can be troublesome because deleting this manually takes some experience related to PCs. One of the best QUICK way to uninstall FocusWriter is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your PC.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the applications installed on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find FocusWriter or simply activate the Search feature and type in "FocusWriter". If it is installed on your PC the FocusWriter program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select FocusWriter in the list of programs, some information about the application is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have about FocusWriter, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
For example you can see that for FocusWriter:





  • The publisher is: "https://gottcode.org/focuswriter/"
  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\FocusWriter\Uninstall.exe
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove FocusWriter.

8. After removing FocusWriter, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of FocusWriter which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing FocusWriter using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
