A guide to uninstall FocusWriter from your computer

Note that you might be prompted for admin rights. The application's main executable file is labeled FocusWriter.exe and occupies 2.09 MB (2186752 bytes).

The following executables are installed alongside FocusWriter. They take about 2.25 MB (2354094 bytes) on disk.

How to uninstall FocusWriter from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

FocusWriter is an application marketed by the software company Graeme Gott. Some people decide to remove this program. Sometimes this is difficult because deleting this manually takes some knowledge regarding PCs. One of the best SIMPLE approach to remove FocusWriter is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general tool to maximize the performance of your Windows system.

  • download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system utility.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the programs existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find FocusWriter or simply activate the Search feature and type in "FocusWriter". If it exists on your system the FocusWriter app will be found very quickly. After you click FocusWriter in the list of apps, the following information regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding FocusWriter, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

  • The web site of the program is: "https://gottcode.org/focuswriter/"
  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\FocusWriter\Uninstall.exe
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove FocusWriter.

8. After uninstalling FocusWriter, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong FocusWriter which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing FocusWriter with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
