How to uninstall FileOptimizer from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

FileOptimizer is a program released by Javier Gutiérrez Chamorro (Guti). Some computer users decide to remove it. Sometimes this is easier said than done because uninstalling this by hand requires some experience regarding PCs. If it is installed on your PC the FileOptimizer application will be found automatically. When you click FileOptimizer in the list of programs, some information regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding FileOptimizer, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove FileOptimizer.

8. After uninstalling FileOptimizer, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of FileOptimizer that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling FileOptimizer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
