How to remove FileOptimizer from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

FileOptimizer is an application by Javier Gutiérrez Chamorro (Guti). Frequently, people choose to erase this application. This is hard because performing this manually takes some experience related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE manner to erase FileOptimizer is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your system.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate FileOptimizer or simply activate the Search field and type in "FileOptimizer". If it is installed on your PC the FileOptimizer program will be found automatically. When you click FileOptimizer in the list of apps, the following data about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about FileOptimizer, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall FileOptimizer.


8. After uninstalling FileOptimizer, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong FileOptimizer that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling FileOptimizer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
