How to uninstall Dev-C++ from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Dev-C++ is an application released by Bloodshed Software. Some users try to erase this program. This is easier said than done because performing this by hand requires some knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best QUICK way to erase Dev-C++ is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your Windows computer.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Dev-C++ or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Dev-C++". If it is installed on your PC the Dev-C++ app will be found very quickly. After you click Dev-C++ in the list , some information about the application is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about Dev-C++, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Dev-C++.

8. After uninstalling Dev-C++, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Dev-C++ that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Dev-C++ using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
