A way to uninstall Dev-C++ from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Dev-C++ is an application offered by the software company Bloodshed Software. Sometimes, people try to remove this program. This can be easier said than done because doing this manually takes some advanced knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE action to remove Dev-C++ is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows system.

  • download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Dev-C++ or simply activate the Search field and type in "Dev-C++". The Dev-C++ application will be found automatically. After you click Dev-C++ in the list of applications, some information about the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Dev-C++, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Dev-C++.

All the items that belong Dev-C++ which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
