A way to remove Dev-C++ using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Dev-C++ is an application offered by Bloodshed Software. Some computer users decide to remove it. This is easier said than done because deleting this manually requires some experience related to removing Windows programs manually. The best EASY practice to remove Dev-C++ is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your system.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the programs installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Dev-C++ or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Dev-C++". If it exists on your system the Dev-C++ program will be found automatically. After you click Dev-C++ in the list of apps, the following data regarding the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding Dev-C++, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Dev-C++.

8. After removing Dev-C++, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Dev-C++ which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Dev-C++ with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
