You can find below details on how to uninstall Chrome for Windows. The Windows release was created by Google Inc.. More info about Google Inc. can be seen here. Usually the Chrome application is installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application directory, depending on the user's option during install. Chrome's full uninstall command line is C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\53.0.2785.70\Installer\setup.exe. Chrome's primary file takes about 1.08 MB (1135944 bytes) and is called chrome.exe.

3. Press the General Tools button

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Chrome or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Chrome". If it exists on your system the Chrome program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Chrome in the list of programs, the following data about the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have about Chrome, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Chrome.
