A way to uninstall Atom from your system

This web page contains thorough information on how to uninstall Atom for Windows. It was coded for Windows by Mail.Ru Group. Check out here for more information on Mail.Ru Group. Usually the Atom application is placed in the C:\UserNames\UserName\AppData\Local\Mail.Ru\Atom\Application directory, depending on the user's option during setup. The full command line for uninstalling Atom is C:\UserNames\UserName\AppData\Local\Mail.Ru\Atom\Application\4.0.0.155\Installer\setup.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may get a notification for admin rights. atom.exe is the Atom's primary executable file and it takes approximately 1.31 MB (1375928 bytes) on disk.

A way to erase Atom with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Atom is a program released by the software company Mail.Ru Group. Some users try to uninstall this application. Sometimes this is troublesome because performing this manually requires some skill related to removing Windows programs manually. One of the best SIMPLE solution to uninstall Atom is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to clean your Windows PC.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Atom or simply activate the Search field and type in "Atom". If it exists on your system the Atom app will be found very quickly. After you click Atom in the list of apps, some information about the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Atom, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Atom.


8. After uninstalling Atom, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Atom that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Atom using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
