A guide to uninstall Atom from your PC

Atom is a computer program. This page contains details on how to remove it from your computer. It was coded for Windows by Mail.Ru Group. You can read more on Mail.Ru Group or check for application updates here. Atom is typically set up in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Mail.Ru\Atom\Application folder, however this location can vary a lot depending on the user's option while installing the application. The full uninstall command line for Atom is C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Mail.Ru\Atom\Application\8.2.0.44\Installer\setup.exe. Atom's primary file takes about 1.50 MB (1570176 bytes) and its name is atom.exe.

How to delete Atom from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Atom is an application marketed by Mail.Ru Group. Some users want to remove this program. Sometimes this is efortful because uninstalling this by hand requires some experience regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best EASY manner to remove Atom is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows PC.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs existing on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Atom or simply click the Search feature and type in "Atom". If it is installed on your PC the Atom app will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Atom in the list of apps, some data about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Atom, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Atom.


8. After uninstalling Atom, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Atom that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Atom using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
