Atom is a Windows program. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may get a notification for admin rights. The application's main executable file has a size of 1.39 MB (1456000 bytes) on disk and is titled atom.exe.

A way to delete Atom from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Atom is a program offered by Mail.Ru Group. Frequently, people decide to erase this application. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:

  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools category

5. A list of the programs installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Atom or simply click the Search feature and type in "Atom". If it is installed on your PC the Atom program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click Atom in the list of apps, some data about the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about Atom, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the app you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Atom.

8. After removing Atom, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Atom that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Atom using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
