How to uninstall Atom from your system

Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might be prompted for admin rights. atom.exe is the Atom's main executable file and it occupies approximately 1.40 MB (1462968 bytes) on disk.

How to erase Atom from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Atom is an application marketed by the software company Mail.Ru Group. Sometimes, users choose to remove this program. Sometimes this can be difficult because uninstalling this by hand requires some know-how related to Windows internal functioning. The best SIMPLE solution to remove Atom is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your PC.

• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Atom or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Atom". If it exists on your system the Atom application will be found automatically. When you click Atom in the list of applications, the following information regarding the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding Atom, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Atom.


8. After removing Atom, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Atom that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Atom with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
