A guide to uninstall Atom from your system

Atom is a Windows program. Read below about how to uninstall it from your computer. It was developed for Windows by Mail.Ru Group. Check out here for more info on Mail.Ru Group. The program is often located in the C:\UserNames\UserName\AppData\Local\Mail.Ru\Atom\Application directory (same installation drive as Windows). You can remove Atom by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\UserNames\UserName\AppData\Local\Mail.Ru\Atom\Application\7.0.0.88\Installer\setup.exe. Keep in mind that you might get a notification for admin rights. Atom's main file takes about 1.39 MB (1455288 bytes) and its name is atom.exe.

Atom is comprised of the following executables which take 22.52 MB (23610816 bytes) on disk:

How to erase Atom from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Atom is a program offered by Mail.Ru Group. Some people choose to remove this program. This is easier said than done because doing this manually takes some knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK procedure to remove Atom is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to clean your PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Atom or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Atom". If it exists on your system the Atom program will be found automatically. After you click Atom in the list of applications, the following information regarding the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Atom, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Atom.


8. After removing Atom, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Atom which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Atom using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
