A guide to uninstall AIMP from your PC

If planning to uninstall AIMP you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders remaining:

• C:\Program Files\AIMP
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\AIMP

Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall AIMP:

• C:\Program Files\AIMP\AIMP.exe
• C:\Program Files\AIMP\AIMP.ini
• C:\Program Files\AIMP\AIMP.Runtime.dll
• C:\Program Files\AIMP\AIMP.Shared.dll

Registry that is not cleaned:

Registry values that are not removed from your computer:

A way to delete AIMP from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AIMP is an application by the software company AIMP DevTeam. Sometimes, people decide to uninstall this application. This can be hard because performing this by hand requires some know-how regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY approach to uninstall AIMP is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general tool to clean your Windows system.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs installed on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find AIMP or simply activate the Search field and type in "AIMP". If it exists on your system the AIMP application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select AIMP in the list of programs, some data regarding the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding AIMP, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for AIMP:

• The software company is: http://www.aimp.ru
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\AIMP\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall AIMP.


8. After removing AIMP, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of AIMP that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing AIMP using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
