If planning to uninstall AIMP you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Directories left on disk:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\AIMP

Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall AIMP:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\AIMP\System\aimp_menu64.dll

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\AIMP

How to delete AIMP from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AIMP is a program offered by the software company AIMP DevTeam. Sometimes, computer users try to remove this application. This is troublesome because removing this manually takes some advanced knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK manner to remove AIMP is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:

• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications installed on your PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find AIMP or simply activate the Search field and type in "AIMP". If it exists on your system the AIMP app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select AIMP in the list , some information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding AIMP, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for AIMP:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\AIMP\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall AIMP.


8. After removing AIMP, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong AIMP that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
