How to uninstall AIMP from your computer

This page contains detailed information on how to uninstall AIMP for Windows. The Windows release was created by AIMP DevTeam. Further information on AIMP DevTeam can be seen here. More data about the application AIMP can be seen at http://www.aimp.ru. The program is usually installed in the C:\Program Files\AIMP3 folder. AIMP has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Folders remaining:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\AIMP3
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\AIMP

Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall AIMP:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\AIMP3\!Backup\z Before install v4.00.1670 RC 2 [2015.11.21 15-11-42].zip
• C:\Program Files (x86)\AIMP3\AIMP.exe
• C:\Program Files (x86)\AIMP3\AIMP.ini
• C:\Program Files (x86)\AIMP3\AIMP.Runtime.dll

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\AIMP
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AIMP.AssocFile.AAC
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AIMP.AssocFile.AC3
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AIMP.AssocFile.ACS2

Open regedit.exe to delete the values below from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AIMP.AssocFile.AAC\DefaultIcon\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AIMP.AssocFile.AC3\DefaultIcon\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AIMP.AssocFile.ACS2\DefaultIcon\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AIMP.AssocFile.ACS3\DefaultIcon\

How to erase AIMP with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO
