A guide to uninstall Zoom from your PC

Zoom is a software application. This page contains details on how to remove it from your PC. It is developed by Zoom Video Communications, Inc.. More information about Zoom Video Communications, Inc. can be seen here. Please open https://zoom.us if you want to read more on Zoom on Zoom Video Communications, Inc.'s website. Usually the Zoom application is to be found in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Zoom\bin directory, depending on the user's option during install. C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Zoom\uninstall\Installer.exe is the full command line if you want to uninstall Zoom. Zoom.exe is the Zoom's main executable file and it takes circa 273.88 KB (280448 bytes) on disk.

Following the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the computer. Some of these are shown below.

Folders remaining:

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\ZoomUMX
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppHost\Zoom

Additional registry values that are not removed:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Zoom\bin\Zoom.exe.ApplicationCompany
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Zoom\bin\Zoom.exe.FriendlyAppName

How to delete Zoom using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Zoom is an application released by Zoom Video Communications, Inc.. Some people decide to remove this application. This can be hard because doing this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY procedure to remove Zoom is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your PC.

• visit Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Zoom or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Zoom". If it exists on your system the Zoom program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Zoom in the list , some information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding Zoom, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Zoom:

• The web site of the program is: https://zoom.us
• The uninstall string is: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Zoom\uninstall\Installer.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Zoom.


8. After removing Zoom, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Zoom which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Zoom using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
