A guide to uninstall Zero Install from your computer

A way to uninstall Zero Install from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Zero Install is a program released by 0install.de. Some people decide to erase this program. Sometimes this is easier said than done because performing this by hand takes some knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best EASY procedure to erase Zero Install is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your computer.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Zero Install or simply activate the Search field and type in "Zero Install". If it exists on your system the Zero Install program will be found very quickly. When you select Zero Install in the list of programs, some data regarding the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding Zero Install, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Zero Install:

• The software company is: http://0install.de/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Zero Install\0install-win.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Zero Install.


8. After removing Zero Install, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Zero Install that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Zero Install using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
