How to uninstall Zero Install from your system

Zero Install is a computer program. Zero Install has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Usually, the following files are left on disk:

How to remove Zero Install from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Zero Install is a program by the software company 0install.de. Sometimes, computer users try to uninstall this application. This is efortful because performing this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best EASY manner to uninstall Zero Install is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to optimize your computer.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Zero Install or simply click the Search feature and type in "Zero Install". If it exists on your system the Zero Install app will be found automatically. Notice that when you select Zero Install in the list , some information about the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Zero Install, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

• The uninstall string is: "C:\Program Files\Zero Install\unins000.exe"

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Zero Install.


8. After removing Zero Install, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Zero Install which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Zero Install using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
