A guide to uninstall Vivaldi from your PC

You can find on this page details on how to uninstall Vivaldi for Windows. The Windows version was developed by Vivaldi. You can read more on Vivaldi or check for application updates here. Usually the Vivaldi application is installed in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\Application directory, depending on the user's option during setup. The full command line for uninstalling Vivaldi is "C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\Application\1.0.231.3\Installer\setup.exe" --uninstall --vivaldi. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might be prompted for administrator rights. Vivaldi's main file takes around 958.12 KB (981112 bytes) and is called vivaldi.exe.

Vivaldi is composed of the following executables which take 26.98 MB (28285528 bytes) on disk:

If planning to uninstall Vivaldi you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders that were found:
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Vivaldi
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Vivaldi

The files below remain on your disk by Vivaldi when you uninstall it:

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional registry values from the Windows Registry:

How to uninstall Vivaldi from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding Vivaldi, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Vivaldi.
