A guide to uninstall Synergy from your PC

You can find below details on how to remove Synergy for Windows. It was developed for Windows by The Synergy Project. Check out here for more info on The Synergy Project. Detailed information about Synergy can be found at http://synergy-foss.org/support. Synergy is frequently set up in the C:\Program Files\Synergy directory, subject to the user's option. The full command line for uninstalling Synergy is C:\Program Files\Synergy\uninstall.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may receive a notification for admin rights. synergy.exe is the programs's main file and it takes circa 1.69 MB (1766912 bytes) on disk.

The following executables are installed along with Synergy. They take about 4.11 MB (4313031 bytes) on disk.

Following the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the PC. Part_A few of these are listed below.

Files remaining:

Generally the following registry keys will not be uninstalled:

A way to delete Synergy from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Synergy is a program released by the software company The Synergy Project. Some computer users try to uninstall this application. 3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Synergy or simply click the Search feature and type in "Synergy". If it exists on your system the Synergy app will be found very quickly. After you click Synergy in the list of apps, the following information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Synergy, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Synergy:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Synergy\uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Synergy.


8. After uninstalling Synergy, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Synergy that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Synergy using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
