A guide to uninstall Synergy from your system

You can find below details on how to uninstall Synergy for Windows. It was created for Windows by The Synergy Project. Check out here for more details on The Synergy Project. More info about the program Synergy can be found at . Synergy is usually installed in the C:\Program Files\Synergy folder, but this location may vary a lot depending on the user's decision while installing the application. You can remove Synergy by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files\Synergy\uninstall.exe. Note that you might be prompted for admin rights. The application's main executable file is titled qsynergy.exe and it has a size of 1,002.50 KB (1026560 bytes).

Synergy installs the following the executables on your PC, taking about 3.06 MB (3204967 bytes) on disk.

  • qsynergy.exe (1,002.50 KB)
  • synergyc.exe (806.50 KB)
  • synergys.exe (988.50 KB)
  • uninstall.exe (332.35 KB)

A way to remove Synergy from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Synergy is an application offered by the software company The Synergy Project. Sometimes, computer users choose to remove it. Sometimes this is easier said than done because deleting this by hand requires some advanced knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best EASY way to remove Synergy is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your Windows computer.

  • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Synergy or simply click the Search feature and type in "Synergy". The Synergy program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click Synergy in the list of programs, some data about the program is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Synergy, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Synergy.

8. After removing Synergy, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Synergy that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Synergy with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
