A way to uninstall Synergy from your system

You can find below details on how to uninstall Synergy for Windows. It was developed for Windows by The Synergy Project. Open here for more details on The Synergy Project. Click on to get more info about Synergy on The Synergy Project's website. The program is often located in the C:\Program Files\Synergy folder (same installation drive as Windows). The full command line for removing Synergy is C:\Program Files\Synergy\uninstall.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might get a notification for admin rights. launcher.exe is the Synergy's primary executable file and it takes circa 706.00 KB (722944 bytes) on disk.

The following executable files are contained in Synergy. They take 2.71 MB (2842904 bytes) on disk.

How to remove Synergy with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Synergy is an application marketed by the software company The Synergy Project. Sometimes, users want to remove it. Sometimes this can be efortful because uninstalling this by hand requires some know-how regarding PCs. One of the best SIMPLE solution to remove Synergy is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your Windows system.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the programs installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Synergy or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Synergy". If it exists on your system the Synergy app will be found automatically. Notice that when you click Synergy in the list , some information about the program is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about Synergy, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Synergy\uninstall.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Synergy.

8. After uninstalling Synergy, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Synergy which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Synergy with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
